To check the colour transfer of dyeings and prints, undyed, standardized adjacent fabrics in plain weave with medium grammage are used. These adjacent fabrics must be free of damaged fibers, finishes, chemical residues, dyes and optical brighteners. Two different types of adjacent fabrics are used: Single-fiber and multi-fiber adjacent fabrics.
