PRO Morinaga Allergen Kit – Advanced accuracy for professionals who demand top-tier performance
The Lateral Flow Rapid Test Pro is a qualitative lateral flow immunoassay test for visual detection intended for rapid assessment of allergenic ingredient proteins in samples. It rapidly determines whether or not target proteins reside in foods, including unprocessed foods and processed products. Its application also extends to target proteins in swabs.
This kit specifically detects target proteins using highly specific antibodies. The innovative extraction solution provided with the kit improves the recovery performance of target protein extraction from test samples, even from extensively processed foods, generating more reliable results than ever before.
1 x Box with 10 tests
Measurement time:
Sample preparation time: within 30 min
Rehearsal time: 15 min
Working temperature: 20−30 °C
Storage temperature: 2-8°C (35-46°F), DO NOT FREEZE.
For food samples (recommended extraction method)
Sample extraction
Grind and blend the test food sample until homogenized using a contamination-free homogenizer/blender.
Place 1.0 g of the homogenized sample into a polypropylene tube (L) and add 1 packet of extraction solution
Shake the capped tube for 30 seconds.
Place the capped tube in water above 90°C (194°F) for 10 minutes.
Place the tube under running water to cool it to room temperature
Shake for 30 seconds.
Let the tube sit for a few minutes to allow the sample to settle, then collect the supernatant as sample extract.
Preparation of the test solution
Dispense 900 μL of diluent with a pipette (L) into a polypropylene tube (S).
Add 100 μL of sample extract using a pipette (S) to the polypropylene tube (S) containing 900 μL of diluent and mix well. The resulting solution is called the test solution.
Test procedures
Place a test strip horizontally and add 200 μL of test solution to the sample application slot.
Incubate for 15 minutes at room temperature.
Interpret the results:
A) Positive: A red-violet line in the test window along with a red color in the confirmation window.
B) Negative: No lines in the test window along with a red color in the confirmation window.
C) Invalid: no color in the confirmation window.
Additional protocols for rinse and swab water samples, as well as simplified protocols, are available in the manual.
